To maintain the cold chain all the way to your door, we deliver using refrigerated trucks.
In the fridge

Once delivered, our meals keep for 7 days in the fridge and are ready to serve straight away.
In the freezer

If you decide to freeze them after delivery, they keep for up to 10 months.

What is the price of Dog Chef?

The price depends on your dog’s profile: breed, weight, age, activity level, sterilisation and specific needs, as well as the plan and recipes chosen. To get a personalised estimate, click “Calculate the price” at the top right of the website. You can start with a 14-day trial box, and if you have several dogs, you benefit from a discount.

How are the daily portions calculated?

Dog Chef daily portions are calculated using a nutritional model developed with our veterinarians. It takes into account sex, breed, age, activity level, sterilisation, weight, body condition and any allergies or medical conditions in order to determine the kilocalories your dog needs. You can manually adjust them at any time after the trial box if you wish.

How does it work?

Everything starts with a 14-day trial box, specially designed so you can test whether your dog likes it! You create your dog’s profile in under 2 minutes, then build their tailor-made menu from recipes adapted to their needs, even for sensitive or fussy dogs.

Then we deliver for free, at the frequency of your choice, and you manage everything from your customer account: recipes, deliveries, pauses or cancellation, at any time and in just a few clicks.

Is it possible to order without a subscription?

The subscription is the most advantageous option. You remain 100% free: pause, postpone delivery, change recipes and portions at any time, and enjoy up to 10% off your orders. That said, if you prefer to order occasionally, it’s possible: you need to start with a 14-day trial box, stop your subscription, then place à la carte orders from the Shop in your Dog Chef account.

Can a puppy eat Dog Chef?

Yes! Our fresh meals are all-life balanced: they are suitable for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. For puppies under 6 months old, we have specially developed the Puppy Booster with our veterinarians, and it is offered for free until they are 6 months old. We apply strict minimum and maximum values for every nutrient to cover needs at every life stage.

All our recipes are developed by veterinarians specialised in nutrition and strictly comply with NRC and FEDIAF veterinary standards.

It’s a bit expensive for me – what can I do?

The price of your subscription adapts to your budget! You can choose a lighter plan, such as mixed or partial, select more affordable recipes, space out your deliveries to benefit from long-frequency discounts, use referrals or take advantage of the loyalty programme.
