As opposed to being a specific breed, Alaskan Huskies represent a canine category. Hundreds of years ago, pioneers from Canada and the northern United States created these unparalleled Arctic explorers. With no restrictions imposed by breed standards, Arctic Huskies come in a wide range of sizes, shapes, and colours, and they excel at a wide variety of jobs. Since they are smaller and thinner than their Siberian Husky and Malamute counterparts, they are able to run faster and farther than their rivals in competitive sledding. Appearance of Alaskan Husky Dogs<\/h2>\n\n

Alaskan Huskies can appear differently. Some resemble Siberian Huskies, but most are medium-sized. Their rainbow-coloured coat makes them easy to recognise despite their Arctic origins. Self-cleaning coats remove embedded material with skin oils. Some resemble Siberian Huskies, while others are plain; the German Shorthaired Pointer can be seen in spotting or solid colouring.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most Alaskan Huskies have huge, forward-facing, moveable ears. Unlike Arctic breeds, most Alaskans have black eyes. They have long, muscular limbs, neck, and back, a coiled tail like a Spitz, and a tucked abdomen.
